And that someone is...... My brother.
Yes, my brother.
My new baby brother by the name of Trahaearn Archer Wulfran 'Surnamename'.

Born at 3:03PM, May 23rd, the day after my sister Moran's Birthday. (Cool huh?)

At 8lb 2oz he is one big little baby brother and an even bigger smile that could make you want to just hold him forever. Speaking of holding, it is quite a test of patience when you go to visit Mum and Trahaearn for the first time in hospital and due to you being the 5th oldest out of 12 children and youngest go first thus making you 7th in line to hold your new bay brother. But anyhow somehow I finally got my go of holding him and it was worth the wait. The feeling of pride and love when holding your 7th younger sibling is one that is not able to be put in words.

So now there are 12 kids in our family, 6 girls, 6 boys and the coolest, funest, bestest brothers and sisters on earth. Well, you might not call us all kids as Autumn turns 18 in July, Braedon is 20 and Kynans nearly 22, still, when we are all old and in wheelchairs and such we'll still refer to all of us as 'us kids'.

Yes, today is Official Star Wars Day!

And who knows what announcement will be made in a few hours when "All will be revealed"

Enemy Brothers (and sister!)

Yesterday I finished the really interesting book Enemy Brothers, though not without a few 'complications'.
Its about this young RAF officer in WWII who's brother was kidnapped by a German woman about 9 previous of the start of the book. The brother, Tony, who was around 2 years old at the time, was taken to Germany and raised in the German fashion and when old enough attended rallies etc in support of Nazi Germany eventually becoming one off the Hitler Youth. Anyhow, long story short, Tony, growing up being called Max gets captured by the English and meets up with Dym (The RAF guy) though Tony believes himself to be of pure German heritage. Dym then, after much careful thinking and several clues discovers that Max (a.k.a. Tony) is his younger long lost brother Tony. Tony is then taken into Dyms custody and lives at Dyms childhood home with many of Dyms relations and also several borders living there, Dym visits every few weeks when on leave. Tony is disgusted at being held a prisoner by the "Mad English" and has the grueling task of waiting at lest till the end of the war till he can to return to Germany and Dym has the grueling task of persuading Max that he is not Max Eckermann but really Tony Ingleford.

I was a little over halfway through till Vellvin thinks "oh that looks like a cool book lets read it" and thus for 2-3 days every now and then it would be 'stolen' from me until I recovered it from the 'theif' and then a argument would begin on who was rightful to have the book. Then one of us would get it then it would be stolen......etc. Finally I finished it and randomly picked a new book of the shelf last night "The Reb and the Redcoats" and coincidentally it is by the same author as Enemy Brothers!!
The comforting thought is that Vellvin has already read it!!!!

I hate Autumn (fall) (Don't think I'm talking about my sister Autumn cause I'm not) Autumn means it gets colder, it gets wetter, it gets windier, it- I'm sure I could think of many other reasons but I cant be bothered.
What ever, I'd rather just have Summer and Spring all year round!!!
You people up in the North are probably quite happy with your Spring. Grrrrrr!!!

Rambo: First Blood

Starting round 1:30 A.M., Me, Kynan, Autumn, and Braedon watched First Blood. And it was GREAT!!!
This guy defeats 6 police armed with guns by simply using just a gun, a knife and sheer cunning and strength!!

Who is Rambo? Well, he is one of an elite group that fought in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. 7 years after the U.S. pulled out of Vietnam John Rambo is searching for his former comrade in arms only to find that he died of cancer and that he is now the last of his unit.
Later, laden with grief Rambo walks through the small town of Hope and is picked up by the local sheriff, mistaken for a drifter.At the police station he is mistreated by the men there and eventually breaks out, defeating all the officers at the station using no weapons. He is then pursued in the forest where a skirmish with 6 cops that he defeats using booby traps and his guerrilla warfare experience causes 200 of the National Guard to be called out and thus begins an epic fight for survival.

After finishing the movie at 3:00 AM (very late) I then sleep walked off to bed while Kynan and Braedon (if your wondering they are night owls and love staying up till crazy hours) had this sudden thought: Why not watch another movie!?!?!? They then started some movie called Fight Club . And I estimate that my two older brothers didn't make it to bed till 6:00 A.M.!!!

The below photos were taken when we went to Mozambique last Saturday. From left to right: Braedon, Kynan, and Me on top of the roglom zwagzotee (a famous African building that is 80 metres high) with African gwandoo trees in the background.

No, just kidding that's Braedon, Kynan and Me on the topmost part of our roof with gumtree in the background last Saturday when we were cleaning out the gutters.
In fact it was the first time I've been on the roof, but Kynan and Braedon have done it countless times. Kynan and Braedon were simply cleaning out the gutters when I was asked to get something from the garage for them and the next minute I was asked to help "Up top".
Somehow no one managed to tell Mum that three of here sons were round about 8 metres in the sky pulling leaves, branches, and other such stuff off the roof.

Then Vellvin then came outside and Kynan shouted down to here to please get the camera joking it would make a good Facebook profile for his facebook page. Vellvin then ran inside and got the camera. Mum still didn't know we were up there using our initiative tiding up the rooftops. Vellvin then took a few pictures of us on top of the roof.

Then we come down after finishing the gutters and tell Mum where we've been for the last hour at which she is somewhat surprised and annoyed that she was in ignorance that we were up on the roof and her fear heightens when Kynan tells here cheerfully that 20 people die every year from falling of rooftops in Australia.

In three hours, at 12:30 I will be sitting in the movies watching the opening credits to C.S. Lewis's The Voyage of the Dawn Treader!!!!! Yes that's right, Australia gets The Dawn Treader before ANY other country on the whole planet!!!!

Not going to brag and annoy the heck out of everyone who is not in Australia to watch this mostlikly-to-be-awesome-movie. Just kidding I am: HAHAHAHA!!!!! I'm gonna go see The Voyage of the Dawn Treader!!!! In your face. I know I'm mean. :P
We watched The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe last night and we are about to watch Prince Caspian if my sister Autumn would hurry up and come!!!

Finally, 367 days after seeing it at the movies with Mum, Vellvin, and Arwen, we have finally got A Christmas Carol on DVD!!!
It was awesome at the movies, not to mention it was in 3-D so when Scrooge flies over rooftops and such with the first ghost the the snow appeared to be moving towards you and you half believe your going to get a snowball in your face!!!!!
So take a wild guess what movie we'll be watching tonight with dinner?

I'm now gonna have to stop this post as Dad is telling me to go to bed. But I will do a post soon on what happened today. We've just finished the final episode of the BBC Robin Hood for the first time.
The ending was quite sad: Robin dies, Gisborne dies, Gisborne may have been a evil man at many points in his life but he died a hero. And Robin, Gisborne and Archer fought as Brothers in Arms.
So the Sheriff is dead, Isabella is dead and Robins gang are going to continue to fight for England!!!!

As Robins Gang would say: "For England!!! We are Robin Hood"!!!

Prince of Persia.

Last night I watched Prince of Persia with Mum and some of my siblings. And it was AWESOME!!! (if slightly mind-boggling).
The main character, who's name is Dastan, is VERY athletic and fit to do all the flips, jumps, leaps and other cool stuff he does.

Me and Vellvin especially liked the guy (cant remember the name) who is the leader/boss of the people in The Valley of Slaves. He was sooo funny, and you find out he doesn't lead a band of cutthroats but just lives in the Valley of Slaves to avoid that dreaded thing called TAXES.

One of the best scenes is where Dastan is scaling a wall with his small band of men and climbs up using just a poll, crossbows and arrows.

All in all it was a really good movie.

Finally its been almost normal since Wednesday morning. That was when four exhausted siblings arrived home after 10 days on the Mainland. Now everything seems normal again- Kynan and Braedon coming home from work every afternoon, Autumn on the computer when I want to use it, and Eden reading a book when shes meant to be doing schoolwork or a job :)
The reason why their exhausted is thus: Well, I my last post I forgot to mention (yes, I forget lots of stuff) that three of those ten days was spent on The Christus Rex Pilgrimage and after walking heaps there were totally tired.
So Thursday was sleep in reeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaly late day for them.
They also brought a great friend who will be staying for a couple of weeks.

Well, I better go to bed now, its past 1:00 A.M. just finished watching the last episode from the first season of Robin Hood. Need to watch some more.

Well its been kinda boring for the last 4 days, on Friday afternoon Kynan, Braedon, Autumn, and Eden left on The Spirit of Tasmania for a 12 day holiday/trek interstate.
Until 10 mins before they left it was absolute packing, confusion, and chaos. Just kidding, no chaos, only a tiny bit of confusion but a MOUNTAIN of packing.

Its a big change having me as the oldest child here. All my life I've had the 4 of them to give advice and encouragement, but now its my turn....... at least for 12 days.
So if your reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly bored, missing siblings and just can't think of anything to do what is a better pastime then to watch

Star Wars is soooooooooooo awesome. This time we're watching them in order and us kids managed to persuade Dad and Mum to watch the new trilogy with us. They both prefer the original, while us kids like the new one better.
Yesterday we finished Revenge of the Sith (it took a while longer then it should because the littler kids wanted to know "Why is was Pamae dead." or "Why is Anakin a bad guy") and are planing to watch A new hope today.

Its still kind of hard to get that two men- like brothers to each others at the start- eventually try to kill each other and that Anakin can be so evil.

My rating for the two Star Wars trilogy's is: 95% awesome and 5% not so awesome.
The 5% bad is because watching Star Wars may make you go blind due to overexposure to 'Pure Awesomness' :D

Also, if some poor guy forgets to wind his clock back on a Sunday night I didn't think he would enjoy arriving at work an hour late. (I don't think his boss would be happy either) And that means that for about half the year you technically go to work, school etc. an hour early!!!

So to put it quickly ( even though I did a total of 119 stupids) I think daylight saving is STUPID!!!

Random fact #3 On Saturday when Dad, Mum and most of my siblings came home after clothes shopping (a very boring activity) they also had bought something else. That something else happened to be

The first five episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars!!!!
Me and Vellvin especially have been wanting to watch The Clone Wars series for quite a while.

We watched all five that night and now we REALLY want to see some more!!!!

Random fact #4 We have also been watching the 2006-2009 Robin Hood series.

There pretty good with lots of sword fighting, sabotage, archery and action. I like Robin because through all the episodes he's absolutely dripping with sarcasm and of course he's pretty handy with a bow.
Much is soooo funny because out of all Robins men he is the worst complainer, always looking at the bad side of things and is always hungry!!

The sheriff is quite funny too, even though in real life he is one of those people you'd hate!! He has a certain sense of style; doing everything in a calm and stylish manner (except when Robin hood does something to annoy him, then he just yells his head of).
Alan A Dale's pretty cool.
Marians awful, she was done well, its just her character.
And I also hate Sir Guy of Gisbourne.

Currently there is a debate in our household about which is more entertaining: Robin Hood or the other TV series we're watching, Merlin.

Currently I probably like Robin Hood more. Vellvin is a loyal Robin Hood fan while Rogan prefers Merlin.

Random fact #5 Our cat by the name of Cupcake (I know, unusual name. Mum's idea) has had kittens. There's four of 'em. And there has been arguments over which ones are males and which are females because Dad and Mum only want to keep the female one(s) because males are know to run of and never come back. So at anytime during the day you might hear something like this: "We have to keep this one, she's so cute." "We can;'t keep that one, it a boy!!" "Its a girl. Trust me I know all about cats." "Yes, but do know all about kitten's?"

Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well at the end of October Eden, Autumn, Kynan and Braedon all go over on the Spirit to the Christus Rex Pilgrimage on the mainland! We (Vellvin me Rogan Moran Myffwyn Corbyn Arwen Mum and Dad) can't go though! It's really annoying. So Rogan,Vellvin and I are all planning what we could do while they are gone. We want the trampoline fixed before then (seeing as the mats broken), were gonna borrow all 6 star wars from the video shop 'cause ours are on video and our video players not working. WE said we want Dad and Mummy to watch them with us even though they aren't HUGE fans! Shocking I know. And we think Moran could probably watch them as well. Were gonna watch some Merlin's without the others. Mwhahahahah! Were gonna play on the trampoline and try not to sulk. No SCHOOL! We've all decided that (cept Mummy and Daddy) :P

We'll probably look like this when they go.

My life thus far

I suppose your wondering why I haven't posted in over 2 weeks. Well its been kind of hectic for a while, almost every second day SOMEONE has to have a dentist, doctor or some other appointment of some sort.
Well, Toy Story 3 was GREAT!! I'm not going to tell you anything about it or else when you see it (if you haven't you must) you wont be surprised. I will tell you I found Buzz in Spanish mode really funny.
I never have liked winter. In all the movies winter means snow and snowball fights and stuff like that, but not in where I live, all it means is cold damp days that are cloudy and cold but no snow. The only good thing is we can have the fires on, but even that has a downside: SOMEONE has to chop all the wood for all 4 fires. So on the Thursday before last (the 1st of July) I had had enough of continually chopping 2-4 loads of wood per day and then watching it disappear within 24 hours, so I spent the WHOLE day chopping while singing very, very loud 30 Seconds to Mars' "This is War"and ended up with 17 wheelbarrow loads.
A few days ago Mum had this great idea of moving all the stuff from the library room to the play room and the play room stuff to the library room. So we had to carry heaps of books all the way down to the former play room, Dad would load us up with a pile of books and then you would walk all the way to the play room where Mum and Autumn would put them in the correct place. Then Kynan or Braedon suggested that whenever Dad gave us books or when we gave them to Mum we would say "beep beep" like the roadrunner from Bugs Bunny. It really got on Dad's and Autumn's nerves. At about 10:00 I went to bed and the next morning found out the others stayed up till 3:00 moving books!!!!
Well I've got ta go do some Conformation reading (I'm getting Confirmed in 11 days)

Finally after what seems like all eternity we have our Internet. Mum spent hours talking to our supplier (who was an absolute slowpoke )on the phone trying to fix it. And now when we finally get it we find out its not very fast even though we were told it would be much faster.
Dad's coming home tonight (he's been working at Wangarratta for a year and a half now, only coming home on weekends and holidays) and I hope we'll be able to do some fun family stuff.
Also its saint Georges day!! But we haven't been able to do any stuff on it yet here's some plans Mummy had.

If you have been wondering why I haven't been posting lately it has been due to the our Internet provider. In the past we have had days where we lose Internet access and we thought it was just this again.
However we discovered FINALLY that our provider had been in dispute with their provider and that our service was no longer 'on line' so to speak.

So finally after much work by Daddy has found a new Internet provider. It wont be much different to the one we have now except it will be tons faster for internet pages to load. Yes!!!!! but we will have to change all the E-mails and stuff. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!

¹On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. ²They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, ³but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. ⁴While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. ⁵In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? ⁶He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ⁷'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' " ⁸Then they remembered his words.

⁹When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. ¹⁰It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles. ¹¹But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense. ¹²Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.

¹³Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. ¹⁴They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. ¹⁵As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; ¹⁶but they were kept from recognizing him.

¹⁷He asked them, "What are you discussing together as you walk along?"

They stood still, their faces downcast. ¹⁸One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, "Are you only a visitor to Jerusalem and do not know the things that have happened there in these days?"

¹⁹"What things?" he asked.

"About Jesus of Nazareth," they replied. "He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. ²⁰The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; ²¹but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place. ²²In addition, some of our women amazed us. They went to the tomb early this morning ²³but didn't find his body. They came and told us that they had seen a vision of angels, who said he was alive. ²⁴Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but him they did not see."

²⁵He said to them, "How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! ²⁶Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?" ²⁷And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.

²⁸As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus acted as if he were going farther. ²⁹But they urged him strongly, "Stay with us, for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over." So he went in to stay with them.

³⁰When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. ³¹Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. ³²They asked each other, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?"

³³They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together ³⁴and saying, "It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon." ³⁵Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread.

³⁶While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."

³⁷They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. ³⁸He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? ³⁹Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have."

⁴⁰When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. ⁴¹And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, "Do you have anything here to eat?" ⁴²They gave him a piece of broiled fish, ⁴³and he took it and ate it in their presence.

⁴⁴He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."

⁴⁵Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. ⁴⁶He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, ⁴⁷and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. ⁴⁸You are witnesses of these things. ⁴⁹I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."

⁵⁰When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. ⁵¹While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. ⁵²Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. ⁵³And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.

He replied, 'It is you who say it.' ⁴ Pilate then said to the chief priests and the crowd, 'I find no case against this man.' ⁵ But they persisted, 'He is inflaming the people with his teaching all over Judea and all the way from Galilee, where he started, down to here.' ⁶ When Pilate heard this, he asked if the man were a Galilean; ⁷ and finding that he came under Herod's jurisdiction, he passed him over to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time. ⁸ Herod was delighted to see Jesus; he had heard about him and had been wanting for a long time to set eyes on him; moreover, he was hoping to see some miracle worked by him. ⁹ So he questioned him at some length, but without getting any reply. ¹⁰ Meanwhile the chief priests and the scribes were there, vigorously pressing their accusations. ¹¹ Then Herod, together with his guards, treated him with contempt and made fun of him; he put a rich cloak on him and sent him back to Pilate. ¹² And though Herod and Pilate had been enemies before, they were reconciled that same day. ¹³ Pilate then summoned the chief priests and the leading men and the people. ¹⁴ He said to them, 'You brought this man before me as a popular agitator. Now I have gone into the matter myself in your presence and found no grounds in the man for any of the charges you bring against him. ¹⁵ Nor has Herod either, since he has sent him back to us. Then they cast lots to share out his clothing. ³⁵ The people stayed there watching. As for the leaders, they jeered at him with the words, 'He saved others, let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.' ³⁶ The soldiers mocked him too, coming up to him, offering him vinegar, ³⁷ and saying, 'If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.' ³⁸ Above him there was an inscription: 'This is the King of the Jews'. ³⁹ One of the criminals hanging there abused him: 'Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us as well.' ⁴⁰ But the other spoke up and rebuked him. 'Have you no fear of God at all?' he said. 'You got the same sentence as he did, ⁴¹ but in our case we deserved it: we are paying for what we did. But this man has done nothing wrong.' ⁴² Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.' ⁴³ He answered him, 'In truth I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.' ⁴⁴ It was now about the sixth hour and the sun's light failed, so that darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour. ⁴⁵ The veil of the Sanctuary was torn right down the middle. ⁴⁶ Jesus cried out in a loud voice saying, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.' With these words he breathed his last. ⁴⁷ When the centurion saw what had taken place, he gave praise to God and said, 'Truly, this was an upright man.' ⁴⁸ And when all the crowds who had gathered for the spectacle saw what had happened, they went home beating their breasts. ⁴⁹ All his friends stood at a distance; so also did the women who had accompanied him from Galilee and saw all this happen. ⁵⁰ And now a member of the Council arrived, a good and upright man named Joseph. ⁵¹ He had not consented to what the others had planned and carried out. He came from Arimathaea, a Jewish town, and he lived in the hope of seeing the kingdom of God. ⁵² This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. ⁵³ He then took it down, wrapped it in a shroud and put it in a tomb which was hewn in stone and which had never held a body. ⁵⁴ It was Preparation day and the Sabbath was beginning to grow light. ⁵⁵ Meanwhile the women who had come from Galilee with Jesus were following behind. They took note of the tomb and how the body had been laid. ⁵⁶ Then they returned and prepared spices and ointments. And on the Sabbath day they rested, as the Law required.

I.... AM...........SICK.

We have this bad habit of missing important masses: Ash Wednesday Eden fainted in church, then a few days ago all except Dad, Mum, Kynan and Autumn got sick somehow with coughs, sore throats, runny noses, wheezing breathing and dizziness so we missed the Palm Sunday mass and chances are some of us will still be to sick to go to Good Friday mass and of course the most important mass of the year THE EASTER SUNDAY MASS. I have nearly everything everyone has PLUS pneumonia. Oh yes its just wonderful. NOT!!!! I'm breathing three times as fast as I should be as well as my heart pumping three times as fast as usual.
We found out all this wonderful info on a trip to the hospital with Mum and
Kynan last night because I was not breathing well. we spent 2.5 marvelous hours at the hospital and finally after the had done a whole heap of stuff I finally went home after finding out I now have pneumonia. The only good thing is i have to do no jobs. But i am BORED TO DEATH.

My three favorite saints

BENEDICT XVI

Out of all the saints I have heard of and read about my the favorite saints are Gerard Majella, John Vianney, and Pius X.
For my conformation which will probaly be sometime this year I am going to choose two out of the three saint to be my patron saints, it has taken a lot of thought on which two I will choose and I think I they will be Gerard Majella and John Vianney.
I like Gerard Majella because he was said to be never have committed a capital sin OR a venial one.Also he was always so faithful and had a great devotion to Our Lady Of Perpetual Help, and so many miracles happened around him.He also did LOADS of penances.
John Vianney is my one of my favorites because even though he had lots of rouble learning Latin he worked hard and eventually got ordained a priest after a lot of hard work.He brought back the thee inhabitants off the town of Ars back to God and is even known as 'The Cure Of Ars'. On some nights Satan would disturb him and keep him awake all night and destroy the items in his room but John Vianney would just say that Satan was being silly and acting like a child which REALLY annoyed Satan and kept away for a while. John Vianney was also a great confessor and people came from miles around to confess there sins to him.
Pius X is also one of my favorites because he was the pope who let children have Communion at an early age and when he was a kid he walked 6 kilometers to school every day with hiss shoes slung over his shoulder so that they would not be damaged as his family was not very rich. He also had 9 brothers and sisters.He also had a good sense of humor: one day when he was a bishop he came to visit his mother and she asked him how long he would be able to stay "why Mother" he said "I will be here for the rest of the month." Just then his mother looked at the calender: it was the 31st day of the month.He was also the only pope to be canonised since Pope Pius V(1566–72).He wanted to be pastor and was the only pope in the 20th century who gave Sunday sermons every week.

Star Wars

I have always liked Star Wars. As far back as I can remember we have had it.In 2002 when I was about 5 or 6 I went to the movies with Daddy, Kynan, Braedon, Autumn, and Eden to see 'Attack Of The Clones' at the cinema.
I can only slightly remember it but I do remember the assassination at the start with the bounty hunter Zam Wessal and I also remember part of the big battle at the end with all the jedi's and clones.

In 2005 Daddy, Mummy, Kynan, Braedon, and Autumn went to see 'Revenge of the sith at the cinema's. at the cinema's. It was such a rip off that I didn't get to go see it but it was more violent then the others, especially at the end with Anikan and the lava.But we did get to see it on DVD when it came out, though we had to close our eyes for the end.
My favorite character was always Obi-wan Kenobi, My favorite character was always Obi-wan Kenobi,
I like him best in the second and third. But Mummy say I am like the wookie Chewbacca who is also another of my favorite character's.
For my 10th birthday Mummy and Mama (Daddy's Mum) made me a jedi cloak and everyone wanted one so soon Mama had made 5 more.May the force be with you,

A Very Good Movie

Last night we watched The Karate Kid.A few months ago Mummy got it from the video renal place as she remembered seeing it years ago, (we usually get a whole new lot from this place every week or so)we all really liked it, the only problem was Daddy wasn't there at the time and we plan to watch it with him this weekend.
Here is the plot to the first one: When Danial LeRuso moves to California with his Mother and one of the first people he meets is a elderly man who is an immigrant from Okinawa by the name of Mr. Miyagi who works in the Apartment which is Danial's new home as a handy man.And though he doe's not know it Mr. Miyagi is an expert at karate.

Danial's first day doesn't work out too well: when invited to a party suddenly a mob of teenagers turn up on motorbikes and they are led by Johnny Lawrence: a boy with a reputation for being a bully, along with his other buddies, and after trying too stop a fight Danial ends up on the beach beaten up by Johnny.
On Danial's first day at the new school he discovers that Johnny and his buddies go to the same school, then when he goes to check out a karate dojo he finds out that johnny goes there too trained by an ex- marine who thinks he is the coolest guy in the world by the name of John Kreese.
During the evenings and weekends he does things with Mr.Miyagi whom he has become Friends with.
Then one night the school is having a Halloween party and when Danial plays a trick on Johnny he finds himself running but gets grabbed by Johnny and his buddies just outside his apartment and starts to be beaten up until help suddenly arrives:Mr. Miyagi!! who defeats Johny and his buddies all with ease.
When the next day Mr. Miyagi goes with Danial to the karate dojo to ask the teacher to leave Danial alone, John agrees and orders his Johnny and his buddies to leave Danial alone but on one condition: that Danial enters the karate tournament witch is in 2 months time too settle3 things with johnny. MR.Miyagi agrees without Danial's say on the matter.
So begins a long lot of training with Mr. Miyagi,though MrMiyagi's way of training is a bit different then what Danial expected. After two months of hard training the tournament is here.
Slowly Danial climbs up the lists and eventually its Danial verses Johnny. After a long fight Danial's finally defeats johnny and the movie ends happily.

Report on Ash Wendsday

Mission Briefing for 18Th/2/09 A.K.A. Ash Wednesday

Get up, see Kynan and Braedon off to work and make morning tea quickly.
Have breakfast then do school work while Mummy, Autumn,Moran, and Arwen go to Moran's blood test.
Do more school work.
Get ready to go to Ash Wednesday mass at 12:00.
Go to mass.
Come home and do more school work.
Finnish school work and go play for a while.
Help get dinner ready.
Have dinner, do family stuff and go to bed.

MISSION REPORT (and this is true!!)
Got up, saw Kynan and Braedon off, and made morning tea.
Have a late breakfast and found out that due to it being a fasting and abstinence day I could only have a small part of the breakfast I usually have.
Did not get around to the same amount of school work I usually do.
Mummy and the others were nearly late for the blood test.
Mummy and others come home and I only just got ready in time.
Went to mass and had the cross on the forehead and so on, then just as the deacon just after Communion and the Deacon was giving communion to incapacitated people and just as he is about to walk past us (we sit on the front pew) Eden suddenly collapsed to the floor tripping the Deacon (no need to worry about him he was only 90 years old!!)Mummy, me, and Vellvin rush to Eden and start to help her to the side door which was only a few feet away, as we are about to open the door Eden once again collapses luckily a doctor was at mass and he came over and took over checking here and there and so on. Mean while father Felix finished the mass and an Ambulance was called and the doctor talked to the Ambulance people and gave them all the info they needed.Meanwhile the presbytery's secretary offered to take some of us to the presbytery, so all of us went to the presbytery except Mummy, Arwen, Eden and I who was still lying half in, half out the church.FINALLY the ambulance arrived and they did the the usual ambulance stuff, then a 2nd ambulance arrived and they got her in a stretcher after deciding that she needed to go to hospital for some tests. So, Mummy and Arwen go in the car and followed the Ambulance that was taking Eden to the hospital, while I walked to the presbytery. There the others had been having lunch with the secretary, Maren and sister Carmel, after being let in I told them what was going on with Eden ,had a piece of bread and then we all settled down to pure BOREDOM.3 hours later Velvin and Rogan were both throwing up, the little ones were bored stiff and we had to be quite because Maren and sister Carmel were working on some kind of newsletter for the parish or something.finally Mummy came with Eden and Arwen to pick us up.Eden looked much better.We were so happy to go home, the presbytery did not have one board game or PG or G rated DVD.
We finally got home and by then Vellvin, Rogan, and Eden were all sick. so me and Autumn were the only people who could help with the 3 sick people and the 3 rowdy little kids while Mummy tried to settle Arwen.The big boys then come home from work and find a house full of chaos and no dinner whatsoever planed, let alone cooked.
Me and Autumn were stuck with dinner clean-up and were up quite late doing it.
Though not many people know but 3 years ago on Ash Wednesday I fainted in church.Pretty nice coincidence, isn't it?

Plans for Lent

I have not been posting much as for the last 5 days most of us have been been sick, and I have spent most of my time doing...................well, not much. But now that we are all mostly better there will be more post's coming.
So, here is some plans for Lent the day before Ash Wednesday we had to think up a whole lot of sacrifices and things to do to make us closer to God to do during this time, some of them are: only having T.V. and movies on the weekends (that's annoying because the Winter Olympics are on.
Saying the Rosary daily.
Saying the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Angeles daily.
Doing a huge house clean and I mean a HUGE house clean we have to clean all 579 square metres of it.
So that's our family Lent sacrifices and stuff for our family.

The Great Escape

A couple of nights ago Kynan,Breadon,Autumn,Eden,Vellvin,Rogan, and me watched the great Escape.Its a true story set in the 2ND world war and the German's have spent lots of time guarding and recapturing escaped POW's, so they set up a special prison camp for the main 250 people who keep trying to escape.When the prisoners get taken their, on their first 20 minutes there is already 3 different escapes being attempted, but because this camp is a lot more thorough and more well organized none succeed.
But the Germans made a mistake: they have all the best planners and tunnelers all together so its no surprise that on day 2 the prisoners are planning another escape.The planner,Roger,also known as Big X decides that they will plan a mass escape, all 250 escape, not only because they just want to get out but because with such a major escape the Germans will have 1000's of men looking for them when they could be on the fronts fighting.So soon they have Danny and Willie, the tunnel kings working on 3 different tunnels at once while Hendley the Scrounger is sneaking metal for tunneling tools and even maneges to get a camera from one of the gullible guards , Colin is forging fake documents, Louis the only Australian in the whole camp the is busy making tools, such as picks for digging and bellows for pumping air into the tunnels,Eric devices a method of hiding bags in the prisoners' trousers and spreading the dirt from the tunnels over the prison camp, literally under the guards' noses,Lieutenant Cavendish is in charge of the prisoners who sing to cover the noise of digging, then there is Hilts " The Cooler King," who irritates the guards with frequent escape attempts and so spend most of his time in the cooler.So with all the experts in escaping in a couple of weeks they are ready to break out, and no I am NOT going to tell what happens past that.

Paul Revere's Ride

Mummy told me to lern this poem by the end of this term.

Listen my children and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere,
On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-five;
Hardly a man is now alive
Who remembers that famous day and year.

He said to his friend, "If the British march
By land or sea from the town to-night,
Hang a lantern aloft in the belfry arch
Of the North Church tower as a signal light,--
One if by land, and two if by sea;
And I on the opposite shore will be,
Ready to ride and spread the alarm
Through every Middlesex village and farm,
For the country folk to be up and to arm."

Then he said "Good-night!" and with muffled oar
Silently rowed to the Charlestown shore,
Just as the moon rose over the bay,
Where swinging wide at her moorings lay
The Somerset, British man-of-war;
A phantom ship, with each mast and spar
Across the moon like a prison bar,
And a huge black hulk, that was magnified
By its own reflection in the tide.

Meanwhile, his friend through alley and street
Wanders and watches, with eager ears,
Till in the silence around him he hears
The muster of men at the barrack door,
The sound of arms, and the tramp of feet,
And the measured tread of the grenadiers,
Marching down to their boats on the shore.

Then he climbed the tower of the Old North Church,
By the wooden stairs, with stealthy tread,
To the belfry chamber overhead,
And startled the pigeons from their perch
On the sombre rafters, that round him made
Masses and moving shapes of shade,--
By the trembling ladder, steep and tall,
To the highest window in the wall,
Where he paused to listen and look down

Candlemass

For four years now we have celebrated the candlemass by making enough candles out of beeswax to last the whole year.We do two different technique's for making candles:The firs way is the traditional way of quickly dipping a wick into a pot of melted beeswax and pulling it out, quit a bit of wax will have stayed stuck to the wick and will dry in a few seconds.Even though a wick needs quit a lot of dips to make a whole candle, they produce pretty fast when a ten or eleven people are all working together, some doing two at a time (Kynan did about eight at a time).
The other way (which is faster) is getting soft, flat sheets of beeswax and rolling wicks inside the beeswax.But because we couldn't find any beeswax sheet's anywhere we only did dipped ones this year.

Apart from doing a small Christmas study through advent, I have had about 2 months of school and know it is time to start again. This year will be a bit different from what we have done before as mummy has found a whole heap of different resources to work from, and it looks like this year will be enjoyable then last year.

I wrote this poem for mummy though she won’t know I even wrote such a thing till she reads this post.

Mummy had set up a schoolroom
on the table the books she had piled.
She was so terribly excited
today she would teach her own child.

At first she taught him easy things
like the ABC's
then moved on to harder things
like 18 x 43.

Everyday they both enjoyed it
the child and herself
and after many years of learning
those books were put on the shelf.

For her boy had learnt all he could
eaten all knowledge in reach
now his is married with kids
and to his children his wife does teach.

And whenever that wonderful mother
doesn’t feel happy or gay
all she needs is to remember
that wonderful happy first day.
